Wednesday, November 14, 2012, 1:24 PM ETSAP envisions big things for just-acquired Ariba's B2B marketplace, which it calls "the eBay of business networks." SAP hopes to grab a larger slice of a giant market for B2B transactions (and grow the market itself) by revamping pricing - SAP will introduce flat fees in addition to the current per-transaction fees - as well as integrating Ariba's network with SAP apps, and boosting its analytics capabilities via Hana. SAP recently bragged Ariba's network hosts 733K vendors and is adding 1K companies/week.
