Hyundai's (HYMLF.PK) well-documented slap from the EPA over its fuel economy claims could benefit rival Honda (HMC), according to industry watchers. After boosting sales from over 675K vehicles in 2008 to 1.13M in 2011, the South Korean automaker has been thrown off its aggressive sales track by the flap and by new models from Honda resonating well with consumers. Also waiting in the wings: Ford (F) could take some market share from Hyundai with its 2013 Fusion sedan hitting the mid-size segment with impressive fuel economy ratings.
