Friday, November 16, 2012, 2:52 PM ETWith its traditional daily deals business clearly under pressure, Groupon (GRPN) is trying to encroach more and more on the turf of traditional e-commerce providers in an effort to prop up sales. The latest example: the introduction of "always-on" deals that have no end date. The deals, initially available in NYC and Chicago and totaling 27K, can be browsed and searched for on Groupon's site (previous). In tandem with the move, the Groupon Now! instant daily deals product is being shuttered.
