The DOJ has ended an antitrust investigation into the U.S. seed industry without filing charges. Justice had requested information from Monsanto (NYSE:MON) about its business practices regarding to its Roundup Ready soybean, which is designed to withstand the application of the herbicide glyphosate. DuPont (DD) also received a demand for information but doesn't believe the probe was aimed at its behavior.
