Monday, November 19, 2012, 9:14 AM ETSmart meter vendor Itron (ITRI) has named Philip Mezey its new CEO, effective Jan. 1. Mezey, currently the COO of Itron's Energy division, will succeed LeRoy Nosbaum, who held the top job from 2002-2009 and then again starting in August '11. Nosbaum will also retire from Itron's board at year's end. VP John Holleran will become the COO of both Itron's Energy and Water divisions. (PR)
