Tuesday, November 20, 2012, 10:33 AM ETGeneric drug maker Lupin Pharmaceuticals launches its Fenofibrate Tablets in the U.S. after receiving final approval from the FDA. Fenofibrate is the generic equivalent of Abbott's (ABT -0.1%) Tricor tablets, and are for the treatment of Hypercholesterolemia, Mixed Dyslipidemia and Severe Hypertriglyceridemia. Tricor currently represents about a $1.26B market for ABT.
