They should all threaten, and mean it, to withhold all financial support for any office holder who does not sincerely work toward a meaningful, permanent solution, including significant compromise if necessary on both sides. Maybe...MAYBE...that will get their attention. This situation has gone way beyond ridiculous and dangerous. The political shenanigans and posturing have to stop...NOW.

Going off the fiscal cliff would be a mixed blessing. Sure the markets will tank temporarily but Washington DC must get the message that Americans voted this month to increase taxes AND cut spending. That is the what must be concluded from a Democratic White House and Senate and a Republican Congress. It will take two sides to compromise and right now both sides are too busy looking for a camera pointed their way to negotiate honestly.

Not much of a "mixed blessing" in suicide!

And the exit polls indicated 51% of Americans voted to raise taxes on 2% of Americans. Tough question!! I have seen nothing to indicate this majority voted to cut spending on themselves. You can't be serious?
