Thursday, November 29, 2012, 9:15 AM ETOCZ +5.9% after new CEO Ralph Schmitt tells Reuters his company hasn't seen any NAND flash supply issues lately, after struggling with them this summer. He adds OCZ, recently hammered by warnings, a delayed 10-Q, and an SEC investigation, is in talks to raise capital and is open to "strategic alternatives," but downplays the possibility of a sale. Schmitt recognizes OCZ's solid-state drives can't compete on price against NAND manufacturers such as Micron and Samsung, something that has led it to focus on differentiated products such as its new Vector line.
