Oneok (OKS -0.6%) appeared to have cancelled its Bakken Oil Express plans Tuesday, citing insufficient shipper interest, but CEO John Gibson refers to the 200K bbl/day pipeline project as "postponed," saying shippers were not interested in sending oil to the Cushing, Okla., storage hub. Gibson implies the project could be revived if producers can agree on a new destination point.

  • Interesting development. Bakken producers don't want to ship to Cushing. A reaction to Enbridge blocking connection for the Prairie Pipeline? Another destination? Eastern refineries?
