    Warren Buffett dips a toe into the troubled EU periphery, Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) paying Spain's CaixaBank €600M for the future cash flow from its portfolio of life insurance policies. For Caixa, the reinsurance deal provides a one-off gain of €524M, boosting its capital. For Berkshire, it's getting an income stream hopefully isolated from Spain's economic troubles.
