    Apple (AAPL) roundup: 1) The Verge gives the new iMac a review score of 9.0 out of 10, and praises its display, ultra-thin design, and performance. The speakers are criticized a little. 2) Apple is refusing to let the iPhone 5 run on the 4G LTE networks of carrier partners until it tests a network's performance. That might be slowing down the phone's international rollout pace. 3) Apple is reportedly looking for a third iPad Mini panel supplier due to AU Optronics' (AUO) low yields, which are believed to be hurting supplies.

    Very subtle Apple bashing article, that is designed to lower Apple stock's value. These kind of articles are the cause of undervaluation of Apple products, by people recompensed in some way by Apple's competitors who copy Apple products as soon as they appear.
    All three points made regarding Apple are unreliable, and not true.
    Unfortunately the people writing such Apple articles are partially succesful, in their quest to reduce the value of the stock.
    iMac is rated 9. This is ridiculous. I would like to see another desk computer come close to the iMac.
    I have noticed lately in foreign as well as American movies, that 90+% of the laptops shown are MacBookPros. But in American movies they cover the Apple logo. A prime example is Two and a half men. All the computers used are Apple with the logo covered.
    This is not done for the rare times that Vaio or other laptops are used. It is designed to reduce the exposure of Apple products used for the show.

    Apple will always put quality over volume. In the long run, that's why they have stayed on top and can command higher margins.

    Except for when it comes to profit and crowding out their rivals. Case in point, the recent Apple maps fiasco. Also consider the lack of expandable storage on their IProducts in order to generate higher margins on larger storage sizes

    It is also true that the MBP's on CNBC displayed their Apple logos for maybe 3 days, then were covered by the NBC peacock logo.
