Monday, December 3, 2012, 3:59 PM ETAK Steel (AKS -3%) says it prevailed on a key claim in a patent infringement lawsuit brought against the company by ArcelorMittal (MT). AKS claims the court decision will allow it to continue to offer its product for sale in the U.S. regardless of the outcome of the new trial on the validity of the patent. A favorite of short sellers, AKS shares tumble anyway.
