The chipmaker cites better-than-expected mobile/wireless sales - no word on whether combo chips or baseband chips were responsible. Gross margin is now expected to be up slightly Q/Q and opex down $5M-$15M, both better than prior guidance. The analyst day webcast starts at 11AM ET tomorrow.
