Wednesday, December 5, 2012, 5:38 PM ETCitrix (CTXS) is making a push into enterprise mobile device management (MDM) software by acquiring Zenprise, one of the market's early leaders. Citrix touts Zenprise's ability to complement Citrix's mobile-oriented products, such as GoToMeeting, Podio, and ShareFile, and in doing so create an end-to-end suite for managing devices, apps, and data. SAP's Sybase unit is also a key player in MDM software, as is Symantec. Look for VMware (VMW) to buy an MDM firm to complement its Horizon Suite, which competes with various Citrix products.
