As expected, GM's (GM) Opel subsidiary intends to end car production at its Bochum factory in northwestern Germany in 2016 as part of a turnaround plan to return the unit to profitability. The warehouse at Bochum will continue operating and GM could move the manufacturing of components to the plant. It's unclear how many of the facility's 3,000 workers will lose their jobs. (PR)
