Mosaic (MOS) is resumed with a Buy rating and $68 price target at Goldman Sachs, which says the company's estimate revision cycle is inflecting given that global potash fundamentals are bottoming, cash return opportunities are finally emerging, and underlying phosphate earnings power has been underestimated.

  • This buy recommendation would have been a lot more timely when the stock was trading under $50 a share around November 15th. Oh well. I love it when a buy recommendation comes out after a nice run up and a sell recommendation comes out after a significant drop. Whatever happened to buy low, sell high? I'm bullish on the stock, just question Goldman's timing.

  • GS probably wanted to wait till it got back above its 50DMA. It's now trading on the upper BB.

  • Hopefully this summer's seasonal weather won't destroy its earnings.Remember the deltas dry docked ships, or the previous summer storms shutting down its Louisana's sulfur plant. I can see the one but not figuring out till after to use the rail's to get their orders filled, what was the CEO thinking. MOSs broke down into the low 47's, after it gave sub par guidance for the upcoming quarter. It didn't hit my price target of 45, 44 so I took a pass picking up more. When it gets up into that 59, 60 level I take a little off of the top, that helps to bring my cost average down and keeps me long in the stock. Wish I didn't do that so much with BAC, but I still have some so I am long that too. Waiting to add more into my portfolio with more at lower levels. I do like KFN,CINF, KEY, and HBAN for the banks. I just hope the EPA doesn't destroy the drilling in this state. Cheap Nat gas is great for MOS. KFN has a good dividend and a sweet yield.
