The bigger issue: Movie studios increasingly factor in the response in China to their development decisions with Chinese audiences eager to pay the premium prices for the IMAX or 3D formats. On that note, the antagonist army in Red Dawn was changed to North Korean from Chinese late in production, with hardly a thought to the plot.
