Despite being a one-trick pony (football), the network is now the third priciest sports network as it costs TV providers a whopping $1.29 per subscriber. The bigger issue: Though cable and satellite companies are drawing a line in the sand over carriage fees, with sports they have little choice but to capitulate with subscribers demanding access.
