Though the UN resolution does not call for it, providing arms to the rebels (and possibly al Qaeda) has not been ruled out according to U.K. PM Cameron.

Be careful what you wish for.
Yet our mainstream media never tells the public who these rebels are and keep harping on democracy as the revolution's goal. Meanwhile our pres justifies bypassing our Congress because thousands were going to be slaughtered - how about the thousands of Christians slaughtered in the Sudan by the Muslims, or the thousands being slaughtered in Egypt, Iraq and Ethiopia?
