David Tepper - who famously called the big post-QE2 bull market - is back on CNBC and very bullish again. The market has just a small bit of downside risk from these levels, he says, but a return to market multiples not seen since the 90s is the upside. All that's needed for ignition is a deal out of D.C.

  • Not sure how you came to that conclusion. It was a great interview and the guy knows what he's talking about.

  • there is always going to be someone who called something right. And every day I read about all these different people. Funny how you never see their face twice. How many times did he call something wrong? Ah wait, that doesn't get any press now does it.

  • He has beat the market 15 of the last 18 years giving the holders of the fund and annualized return of a little over 29% since inception. Seems he has made the right calls more than once.

  • I think his call has been very accurate so far. I do believe the markets are too high with them being well past GDP. Tepper still expects more let's see if he is right at valuations above GDP for the overall stock market.
