They based their downgrade on how long the lines were at the Apple Stores in China and believed that there was only one person buying the iPhone. "Bad news from China, let's be the first to downgrade Apple." Whoops.
When Citi initiated coverage in November (what took so long to cover Apple) they rated Apple a strong "buy." Are they analyzing Apple or playing rock, scissors, paper to determine the rating?
