Monday, December 17, 2012, 1:16 PM ETAn Amazon (AMZN) smartphone will launch in Q2 or Q3, reports Taiwan Economic News. The paper adds the phone will be manufactured by Foxconn, and sell for $100-$200 (no word on whether this represents a subsidized price). Digitimes reported last month Foxconn had received orders from both Amazon and Microsoft for mid-2013 smartphones, and Bloomberg reported of an Amazon/Foxconn smartphone effort back in July.
