    Only once in the past 20 years has the S&P 500 produced a negative annual return after posting a positive Q1 - and that precipitated a bear market. The S&P logged a 5.4% gain in the quarter just ended, its best showing since 1998.

  • History has no analog for the distortions caused by Fed's manipulations/money printing - and now the Japanese. The currency race to the bottom has intensified.
