GOOG has been engaged in settlement talks with the FTC for the past two weeks, and the agency had initially been expected to announce a decision in the case this week. The internet giant has resisted the FTC’s efforts to reach a formal settlement agreement over allegations that it skews search results to favor its services, saying such an agreement potentially hurts its business prospects.
