The DoJ says it's reached a settlement with Penguin Group for conspiring to raise e-book prices to consumers, and will continue to litigate against Apple (AAPL) and Macmillan. The settlement end's Penguin’s role as a defendant in the antitrust suit filed by the department in April. The department has already settled its claims against three other book publishers: Hachette, HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster (CBS). A trial against Macmillan and AAPL is slated for June 2013.
