Newcastle Investment (NCT) declares a Q4 dividend of $0.22/share, unchanged from Q3, but maybe a disappointment given some expectations for a hike. The annualized yield is just shy of 10%. Shares -0.9% AH. (PR)

  • My PPS is up 28% from where I bought in and my divi effective yield is 12.7%.

    I'm happy.

  • Based on 90% of the 2013 projected earnings of $1.27, $.29 will be the quarterly rate. Lets hope so. Remains one of my favorite holdings because of dividend stability and potential for an increase. Also currently trading well below Book. Their CPR of 9.5% is not too bad either. The anlst rating of 1.6 puts NCT in the Strong Buy range.
