It has been proven that violent people are drawn to violent video games. Not that violent video games cause people to become violent. It's a shame that the media (and most people in the country) have no idea what the diffrerence between causation and correlation is...

Millions upon millions of people play violent video games...one person does something horrible and we're going to blame Cod because he happens to play it?

You might as well blame his brand of toothpaste by that logic

Video games have been around for what half a century?...so please tell me which video game we should blame for Jack the ripper? Did he perhaps travel to our time play grand theft auto and get inspired to go back to his time and murder prostitutes?....maybe stalin did some video game playing before he did a genocide by starvation on the people of Ukraine ...bad people do bad things...I understand most people don't want to believe monsters exist and do everything possible to convince them selves otherwise...but they do exist and they have for a very very long time

Aside from the debate over the effect of violent video games on people, which really isn't germaine to the investment prospects, there's another article on SA that points out that EA is being dropped from the QQQ, so perhaps there's some added selling pressure there as indexers turnover positions due to the upcoming changes?
Yes, maybe the debate will end up changing the games that are developed, or reduction in sales long term, but there's an immediate change that's happening now.
