Friday, December 21, 2012, 9:12 AM ETJapanese automakers report slashed output in China last month in response to demand which has tailed off since a territorial dispute stoked anti-Japan sentiment. Toyota (TM) says its production fell in November 38.7% Y/Y to 50,528 units, while Nissan (NSANY.OB) declined 43.3% to 68,090 units. Honda (HMC) - which is a minor player in China - lost close to 60% of sales compared to last year. Despite the bad news in China, the automobile firms have had luck making back the lost sales in other Asian nations.
