Amazon (AMZN -1.9%) appears to be at least contemplating entering the extended warranty business...

    Amazon (AMZN -1.9%) appears to be at least contemplating entering the extended warranty business after a pair of trademark applications crop up indicating an interest. If the company does get in the business of "maintenance, repair, updating and installation services" for electronic devices it will once again home in on Best Buy's turf.
