Digitimes reported this morning Taiwanese supply chain sources expect Dec. quarter iPad Mini shipments to total just 8M due to continued touch panel shortages (previous); it sees shipments rising to 13M next quarter as panel yields improve. NPD recently reported Apple had raised its Mini display orders to 12M+.

Now if I extrapolate that to the number of stocking stuffer itunes cards at the same parties and the app's purchased or to be purchased over the next week combined with the hardware... I think the so call analysts are sort of like the weathermen who are telling you it's going to be sunny when your looking at the storm clouds out of your window.. Something does not compute.

I'm thinking there is plenty of demand AND plenty of supply to go around. Hard to believe everything you read these days.
I also went to KORS, COH, FOSL, WFM, and didn't see near the customers although all were very active. Only a 10,000 - 15,000 sqf COST store had comparable customer activity. I may be wrong, but I say stay the course, as an x- retailer, I have not seen as much activity on a sqf basis other than SBUX on a Saturday a.m. I am frustrated as I don't know what more I could do to ensure my investment in AAPL is what I perceive it should be.
Lets get past this unbelievable political bs and see what happens in January.
So if they sell "only" 3 million, that's money in bank they would not have had. But they are selling way more than 3 million. So what's the big concern? It's an additional source of revenue that would not be there.....and that's somehow a problem?
