Wednesday, December 26, 2012, 6:05 PM ETAMD has seen another exec leave the company for Samsung (SSNLF.PK): Michael Goddard, a 25-year vet who was most recently the chipmaker's chief engineer on client (PC) products, is now a VP and system architect at Samsung's Austin R&D/manufacturing facility. Samsung's poaching of AMD talent has led some to speculate it's working on an ARM-based server CPU. AMD has done some poaching of its own.
