    Following a Christmas eve outage that affected Netflix, Salesforce.com's Heroku unit, and other major Internet services providers, many Amazon Web Services (AMZN) clients are re-evaluating their dependence on the platform, which has been growing like wildfire. "This does seem to be happening on a fairly consistent basis," says the CEO of one client - AWS also saw big outages at its East Coast data center in October and June. Those who use multiple data centers seem to have better luck.

    completely agree. Between this, and the margin erosion with pricing and shipping costs, AMZN is dancing around the bottomless well back to reality.
