Shares in Air Lease (NYSE:AL) climbed 5.5% to $27.95 on their NYSE debut yesterday in a sign the air-leasing sector is recovering from the financial crisis. Air Lease raised $802.5M in its IPO after selling 30.3M shares, having planned to sell 25M. The listing was priced within range at $26.50.
