How was your prediction about FDA approval last year? Ya, right. You are the contrarian for this stock. Government agencies and investors do just the opposite. Your forward looking opinion on this stock is a placebo. We will find out about EU approval by next week in the CHMP 180 day assessment report and ultimate EU approval by the end of January, 2013. What is Arena's stock price when the EU approves Belviq? What is Arena's stock price when scripts are better than expected? Belviq US launch is in February, 2013. I would not want to be out of ARNA in 2013. Strong Buy!

He got it wrong then and he gets it wrong now.

Don't follow peope who think that they understand biotech better than you simply because they received a pen and a paper to write about a sunject they don't know much about...

It's unfortunate that anyone can say anything about a company without any facts to back it up. This guy has been negative regarding ARNA from the start and mostly wrong. My 2013 prediction regarding AF is he will lose his job due to stock manipulation and taking bribes and ARNA will get bought out by Johnson and Johnson. Hey, just a prediction.

His SEC investigation will come as soon as they finish the one on the manipulation of DNDN bear raid, the conflict of interest of the FDA on their prior decisions on VVUS and ARNA, and naked short selling of same. In others words, never! They don't investigate or do anything about a flash crash of the stock market, No one went to prison for the almost collapse of the worlds financial system.

AF has no background whatsoever in biotech. He was a Poly-Sci major with a bachelor's degree from some piss ant school. No corporate experience, no scientific or medical background of any kind. A with delusions of grandeur and not even an actual trained writer. He's a completely no name hack who has gotten it wrong countless times...see http://bit.ly/zcz1QE for his record. I can't wait until he gets shut down by the SEC. How the hell does Seeking Alpha continue to keep their standards so low as to let this idiot "write" baseless articles for their website? Pathetic... Losing more and more credibility by the day.

I was not permitted to print my original comment so I will re-try here a second time. The author of this article has constantly written negative articles against Arena Pharm for reasons only we can guess. I personally don't appreciate this as I find it totally misleading for others.
Let's hope Seeking Alpha allows this comment as my feelings do have merit.
