A little bit more paperwork. "Currently it is optional for network physicians prescribing H.P. Acthar (or immune globulin medications) to submit for advanced notification prior to the administration of these medications. Drug policy criteria and/or manufacturer package labeling are used to review these requests and are the basis for coverage determination."

I doubt that any prescriber would prescribe Acthar Gel without authorization now. In the current climate, that would be almost reckless.
