    Tech giants are using the first trading day of the year to announce their calendar Q4 earnings dates. Apple (AAPL - consensus) will report after the close on Jan. 23, Google (GOOG - consensus) after the close on Jan. 22, and Facebook (FB - consensus) after the close on Jan. 30.

  • I don't think the market will care much about the Dec earning as much as I thought before, but the guidance on March earning and updates on potential new products and the China Mobile fiasco will be price driver post earning. From updates and early info released so far, the market knows and expects AAPL to blow out earnings for Dec already and the stock isn't reacting much to it.

    No more excuse for fiscal cliff tax selling - weak day for AAPL considering the strength in the rest of the market today.
