TransCanada's (TRP +0.2%) proposed re-route of the Keystone oil pipeline avoids many sensitive ecological regions in Nebraska but would still cross part of a key aquifer, a state regulator's report says. Nebraska's governor now has 30 days to review the report, and the U.S. State Department is due to release an environmental assessment of the pipeline.

  • If this were going through New York State, Governor Cuomo would sit on the report for months and act like he never saw it.

Best wishes to Nebraska and the folks who will be employed when/if the pipeline gets approval to be built.

  • The Keystone pipeline was brought online to Cushing, OK in June of 2010. Cushing was drowning in WTIC. That's why BRENT shot past WTIC last year. Those who played that spread at $1.00 and realized an $18.00 profit in just over a months time Nov. 2011-Jan. 2012 know this.
