    Lanzhou Haimo Technologies confirms a deal to invest $27.5M in Carrizo Oil & Gas' (CRZO -2.9%) Niobrara energy assets in Colorado, China Daily reports, marking the first investment by a private Chinese company into shale oil and gas exploration in a U.S. oilfield. In return, Lanzhou will receive a 14.29% stake in the assets. (earlier)
