Monday, January 7, 1:16 PM ETMetroPCS (PCS -2.3%) trades lower after announcing it lost 93.2K subs in seasonally strong Q4. That's better than the 312.3K subscriber loss it saw in Q3, but worse than the 197.4K gain the prepaid carrier witnessed a year ago. The decline likely has much to do with tougher prepaid competition from nationwide carriers. Churn stood at 3.6%, down slightly from Q3's 3.7%, and 4G LTE subs rose 117% Q/Q to 2.2M (26% of MetroPCS' base). Merger partner T-Mobile USA has also been losing subs.
