A spokesperson for Sears Holdings (SHLD) says the decision to have Eddie Lampert take over as the company's CEO for the outgoing Louis D'Ambrosio was at the direct request of the board of directors. After D'Ambrosio pushed the retailer into new online channels and bet on technology, analysts now wonder if Lampert will move in a different direction to increase the pace of asset sales.
