Tuesday, January 8, 3:34 PM ETTalisman Energy (TLM +0.2%) says it may seek partners to help it develop ~30Tcf of natural gas contained in its Montney shale gas properties in British Columbia, as it continues a restructuring to lift lagging shares. TLM also may look for a partner for its Duvernay shale holdings in Alberta; PetroChina last month agreed to pay C$2.2B for a 49.9% stake in Encana's Duvernay holdings.
