Data from comScore shows that Yahoo's (YHOO) November and December U.S. search traffic fell 28% and 24% respectively Y/Y. The report also says traffic to it's mail service was down 16% and 12% for the same period. That's another big hit to a company whose biggest selling point has always been the sheer size of its web traffic.

  • Pretty much given up on Yahoo. Always locking up with malformed adware. The stock message boards were, once upon a time, pretty useful, but now, mostly full of junk posts. The new improved format is much less efficient, and often, doesn't work properly. The site just keeps gets slower and more tedious.

  • That's good info. Thanks.

BTW, your "it's" is wrong. It should be "its" which is the inherently possessive singular version of "their." The only time it is "it's" is when you mean the contraction of "it is" or "it has."

  • Interesting as I've held back from investing in Yahoo based on it's rapid rise on very little information. I bet this tanks tomorrow. It's rubber meets the road time for Marissa eh?

  • Yahoo has several worthy offerings that could be monetized. One being finance.yahoo.com and it's features.
