Thursday, January 10, 7:05 AM ETThe California State Teachers Retirement System says it will sell all its shares in gun sellers such as Smith & Wesson (SWHC), Freedom Group, and Sturm Ruger (RGR). In an unanimous vote, a committee for the teachers fund approved a measure to divest the $12M in gun stock investments.

AP is reporting that "troopers in the California State Highway Patrol will
no longer carry guns. They will use their 'conflict management' skills to persuade those creating conflicts to stop creating conflicts."
(I'm thinking the people of California will be dealing with the California Teacher's Retirement System for some time)
Since the "Luby's Tragedy" in Texas, which eventual precipitated the "shall issue" Right to Carry Act, not much has occurred, including race riots.
