According to anecdotal reports, the highest VIN number issued so far is #3383 - just above Tesla's latest guidance calling for 2,700 to 3,225 units.

More hysterical attempts to cause financial fear among would be investors when there are people out there driving them every day.
The most important thing though is their current production rate. I do not care if they made 100 cars a week in september, as long as they`re making more than 400 a week now!
Everything about this company, it's products, and more importantly it's planned products make this stock the one to buy if there ever was one. The Models S and X are just previews of the main event which will be the assembly of mass production, affordable electric transportation. There is a VAST market for energy efficient vehicles, and Tesla is firmly in the lead.(in my opinion)
