Tuesday, January 15, 1:26 PM ETMark Zuckerberg kicks off Facebook's (FB -0.8%) event by introducing Graph Search, a tool that allows users to make queries related to shared content. One shown example: a search for college friends who live in San Francisco. Map/photo search support is included, and there are probably some opportunities for search ads that can also leverage other Facebook data. Google (GOOG +1.3%) investors don't seem concerned - the search giant's shares have actually ticked higher. (live blog) (PR)

I still have found no compelling reason to have one of the "F" (for Facebook) accounts.
I chose that day and posted a notice to everyone, so none of my "friends" would think it was anything personal. The wonderful relief to be rid of it is still fresh in memory though it was years ago.
did anyone actually belived in the phone or a new a OS ? who`d be buying a FB phone (unless it was a partnership)
It speaks volumes for the maturity level at FB HQ that they thought that this was worthy of a major press event. Each miscue like this damages their credibility a little more.

This looks like it will be more interesting to folks with huge followings and active friends. How many people have more than 100 friends and more than 5 to 10 active ones?
