    Tesla Motors (TSLA +0.4%) showed off its Model X crossover prototype at the Detroit Auto Show to positive critical reviews. The SUV entry is expected to enter the market somewhere in the $60K-$65K range, which would be above the expected pricing of the Cadillac ELR plug-in hybrid model.

    There is no comparison when one looks at NO gas expense, no scheduled maintaince costs, no price haggling on features and hov preference. and a cleaner environment. All WIN--WIN!

  • The Caddy is a plug in hybrid sedan, the X an all electric SUV. Not sure why any comparison was made at all.
