Thursday, January 17, 7:36 AM ETEni (E) says it successfully drilled the first oil appraisal well in the Sankofa East discovery offshore Ghana, and immediately starts plans for commercial exploitation of the crude reserves. The Sankofa East 2A well, located in the OCTP block in the Tano Basin, has estimated recoverable resources of up to 150M bbl. of oil. E +1% premarket.
