Friday, January 18, 10:04 AM ETNike (NKE -0.7%) emerged unscathed from a softball interview by Oprah Winfrey with Lance Armstrong after it didn't tie the company in any part to the doping scandal. The line of thought on Nike's involvement in the mess is that the company (rightly or wrongly) could be involved in some lawsuits and might see a minor sales blip with its Livestrong brand of apparel. CEO Phil Knight surprised retail analysts earlier this week by saying "never say never" when asked if Nike was completely done with the disgraced athlete.
