    Sterne Agee predicts a cyclical pricing recovery for coal, driven by favorable inventory trends. It sees coal markets continuing to bottom in H1, while "producer discipline, economic/industrial activity improvement and fiscal efforts globally should support cyclical recoveries" in power-plant and steel-making coal in H2 and 2014. ACI +7.6%, ANR +2.4%, BTU +2.4%, JRCC +10.4%.

    Poor mark. He is not an evil soul like Wall street crooks but Obama was to blame for his misfortune. Hope he recovers some of his lost money in PCX.

    yeah I'm in JRCC at 8.20 and ANR at 19.02 (however I doubled down on ANR at 6.50 so that position is recovering nicely). Hoping JRCC holds on and recovers.

    And I agree that Mark wasn't as evil as some of his comm-enters made him out to be... he was just bonkers about his timing on the coal recovery.

    I had BTU for a small profit and sold prior to the election. I'm watching to pick it up again based upon exports to Asia. Is it in fact the best equipped to sell to the growing Asian market? Thank you for any answers.

    Jefferies inc. reporting a similar report a month ago or so on coal outlook for '13. Energy companies usually stock pile tons of coal. I remember a SA author did a report on coal stock prices to stock piles; demand supply.

    really interested in this stuff H&B been reading up on it since I believe you mentioned it last week. Looks promising, we'll have to see if the EPA tries to lock that down as well...
