    Amazon (AMZN -0.3%) adds a service for developers to help them design games in which users can use their Amazon accounts to purchase virtual goods and currency. Though not yet a dominant force in the gaming market, Amazon's long reputation in e-commerce is seen as helping it shoulder into the in-apps purchasing market.
